Everyone Needs a Winter Cap!

Being in NYC last week I definitely felt a different kind of cold than I’m used to, being from Georgia. I immediately noticed that I lacked winter caps in my closet and went out and picked up a nice gray knit beanie. Every guy needs a cap for winter, it just puts any outfit on a higher level of freshness (plus 75% of heat lost from the body is released through the head). Now we all know every guy doesn’t look good in the same cap so I’ve featured three of the best different kinds of caps you can find.In the upper left you can find the Dave’s Quality Meat flat billed red-washed cotton denim hat available at the online store for $32. To the right you can find a fresh Supreme cuffed beanie with a knit-in pattern and pom-pom for $28 here. At the bottom left is a slick plaid wool mad bomber cap from LL Bean for $39.50 available for purchase here.

So if any of you guys are still somehow unsure of how to put together a fresh outfit with a nice winter cap I’m featuring below three of my favorite men’s style bloggers showing off their winter caps.

Jake Davis

Jake Davis is definitely someone that motivates me to step my life game up. He’s a film/music video director who’s worked with Supreme, Drake, Eminem, OneRepublic, Mr. West, honestly the list goes on. He runs a fresh blog catered around his inspirations and men’s style. Definitely a site to check out.

Joshua Kissi

Joshua Kissi is one-half of the duo that run Street Etiquette.  I’m impressed by the way he can blend different style inspirations (street, dapper, etc.) and mold them into one slick look after the next. The gray herringbone tweed cap is ridiculous! He’s definitely someone to watch out for in the near future.

Nick Kemp

This is my boy Nick Kemp wearing the freshest cable knit beanie constructed by his own sister. You can find amazing PTPs, Betsy’s, and handmade ties over at his men’s style blog, Red Eagle Tribe.  Nick is a designer for J. Elquist Clothiers which will be launching a neckwear line in the near future. Check out the lookbook!
